The response time for returns has been pretty sluggish, and they come off as a bit annoyed overall. I got some solar panel mounts for my roof, but when I opened the package, I found out they weren't going to fit. I attempted to start the return process, but it took them ages to send me the RMA label. Now, I'm facing a 20% restocking fee just for opening the box and sending them back at my own expense.

My order didn’t get shipped, and I didn’t get any replies to my emails about it. I left a voicemail, but nobody got back to me. Eventually, when I managed to talk to someone, they said they’d check with another person and got it sent out. No one seems to know why it was delayed in the first place. I didn’t receive any tracking info or updates either. I called again to find out what was going on, and the same rep assured me that my order was on its way.

As for the product, it’s pretty solid. It’s user-friendly and quite durable. Plus, the online guides are really useful.

Neat concept, but every base needed some tweaks to accommodate the shoulder bolt, since it messes up the plate. On top of that, I received the incorrect bits for the fasteners. They sent me 1/4" regular socket bits when I actually needed 14mm/9/16" bits to secure the stainless steel.

The details on your site about the components I was looking for (like solar PV mounting brackets for a metal shingle roof) and the specifics on code requirements were super helpful! The whole ordering experience went off without a hitch, and I got the parts in just a few days. Most importantly, the product quality seems to be excellent! I’ll definitely be ordering more from QuickBolt and would highly suggest them to others.

Fantastic customer service and product quality. They seem to have a problem with their online ordering system. When you place an order, make sure to create an account and keep an eye on the status. If it doesn’t show as shipped after a few days, give them a ring. I ended up waiting three weeks before I called, mainly because I was swamped with other projects. I've noticed similar complaints in other reviews, plus the hassle of finding items sold separately. I thought I had ordered 25, but I’ll chalk that up to my error and only got 20. Now I need 4 more, but I can’t seem to locate any individually sold items on their site.

I'm working on a DIY solar setup for a flat patio roof that's been redone with a silicone rubber membrane.
